On Oct. 19th, the China Foreign Trade Centre signed cooperation agreements with four industrial and commercial organizations from countries of Egypt, Lebanon, Nigeria and Tanzania on Monday, marking the first “cloud signing” of the 128th China Import and Export Fair, or the Canton Fair.
The cloud signing with four industrial and commercial organizations will help promote trade transactions and the development of economic and trade relations among all parties, said Li Jinqi, director general of the China Foreign Trade Centre.
On Oct. 20th, at the signing ceremony during the ongoing 128th China Import and Export Fair, the China Foreign Trade Centre signed agreements with the chambers of commerce from Belarus and Tajikistan on Tuesday to establish cooperative relations.
Xu Bing, deputy director-general of the centre and deputy secretary-general of the CIEF organizing committee, said that facing a sluggish global economy amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the fair contributes to facilitating the global supply and industry chains, while also promoting international trade.
